Following October’s successful Monthly Mixer at the Hard Rock Café in Roppongi, November’s date and location have been set for Thursday, November 10th at the Oakwood Premier Midtown!

The CCCJ has been able to negotiate a very generous rate with the Oakwood Premier to provide nomihodai (all you can drink) and a light buffet costing 3,000 Yen for Members and 4,000 Yen for Guests.

The CCCJ welcomes members and guests to join together to bid farewell to Summer and welcome in the Fall at a casual Thursday night social mixer at the Hard Rock Cafe in Roppongi. Included in the registration price is a light buffet, one drink and warm-hearted people! Subsequent drinks have been negotiated to 500 Yen each.

Is Food In Japan Really Safe?

Following the nuclear accident in Fukushima, there has been great concern throughout Japan on food safety. The issue of food safety is highly charged, and there are many conflicting sources of information,
not all of which has been correct. As consumers, we have a right to know. Is food in Japan really safe?

There will be two independent nuclear experts presented, Dr. Wade Allison of Oxford University (Author of "Radiation and Reason") and Dr. Akira Tokuhiro of the University of Idaho (Professor of Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering).
