CCCJ Healthy Night Out Vol. 2- Eating a healthy diet with Joey Wu

*ZOOM* CCCJ Healthy Night Out Vol. 2- Eating a healthy diet with Joey Wu

We are welcoming our Wellness committee chair Joey Wu to show us how we can stay healthy and fit in this uncertain time and enjoy healthy eating!

You know that eating more vegetables is good for you. But do you know why?

While there are so many types of diets out there that claim to be beneficial to your health, Joey believes that a whole-foods, plant-based diet is what can bring sustainable long-term health. Joey will share what she learnt at the Cornell University regarding the science behind nutrition, and how eating a plant-based diet can be realized easily in our daily lives.

Joey will also touch on some topics that we hear all the time, such as  gluten-free, diet and exercises, and some common diseases. Whether you are trying to live a healthier life, or want some tips on how to plan healthier meals for your family, you will be able to gain some basic knowledge that will help you make better choices.

After the presentation, you are welcome to join an optional follow-up discussion and nomikai.

Date: October 21, Wednesday
