We are thrilled to welcome Kiyo Weiss, Director of Regional and Premium Sales Asia Pacific at Air Canada as our distinguished guest speaker. Kiyo will be sharing her own experience in her career progression in Japan from a woman's perspective. Kiyo will also be discussing challenges and opportunities for women in Japan's corporate environment.
The seminar will be moderated by CCCJ Honorary Adviser, Akiko Kosuda. After Ms. Weiss' talk, there will be an opportunity for group discussion.**Q&A is accepted in both English and Japanese**

About the Speaker:
Kiyo Weiss became the Air Canada General Manager for Japan in October 2013 and in addition to this role, she was appointed to the position of Head of Premium Revenue Asia and Pacific in 2018. She joined Air Canada as the Japan Sales and Marketing Manager in 2009. At Air Canada, Kiyo has facilitated an increase in the number of flights from Japan to Canada from 1 daily to 6 daily helping Japan become one of the most profitable worldwide. The most recent addition was a service to Montreal from Narita in June 2018. Before joining Air Canada, she worked for United Airlines holding various key management positions such as Reservations and Ticket Office Manager for Japan and District Sales Manager for Eastern Japan. During this time, she introduced the first bilingual voice activated speech system to the reservation center and opened the first outsourced call center for United Airlines Japan in Okinawa.
She is currently serving as a governor of Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
