The CCCJ is pleased to announce that on December 11th, 2018 we will be hosting the annual Joint Chamber Bonenkai.

The CCCJ is pleased to invite you to our annual Joint Chamber Bonenkai, an end of year networking party which draws a diverse crowd of approximately 300 business people from domestic as well as international business chambers in Japan.

Guests this year are welcomed to Canada’s Embassy to Japan for one of the finest bonenkai parties on offer in Tokyo, complete with a grand standing buffet, free flow drinks, prizes and entertainment.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

Tokyo American Club is hosting the Canadian Thanksgiving dinner on October 8.

CCCJ members are invited to attend this event. 

This Canadian feast also features dishes like maple-glazed cedar plank salmon, Canadian pork chops with spiced apple marmalade, maple-glazed ham, snow crab cakes and Nova Scotia blueberry grunt.

Great Canadian beer, pork and prizes sponsored by AMMS Japan, Hylife Pork and Euro Merican Fashions.

Over recent months, the BCCJ office has received feedback from our female members, requesting more events and meetings led by women.

On the morning of September 14 we at the CCCJ office are very pleased to be welcoming to the BCCJ offfice Helen Woods, Managing Director of Equiom Solutions who will be visiting Tokyo as part of a wider Asia tour.

Why is it called a “Hackathon”?
Well, we just borrowed a bit of inspiration from the computer programmer events of the same name where people with a common interest (company, club, project) get together for a few days, roll up their sleeves, and see what they can accomplish in a very short time. They are also a great chance for people who don’t meet day to day to network, share their thoughts, and have some fun together.
