Joining Room to Read, CCCJ and Tokyo Startups United
Thrilled to announce that the CCCJ will be joining the 2015 Mo-MaTSUri supporting Beers for Books campaign to benefit Room to Read, last year the event raised enough to fund just over 1,000 books!
Back by popular demand, the CCCJ is excited to announce that on June 24th, we will again be hosting a summer joint chamber evening mixer. One of the most popular joint chamber functions of the year, this party attracts a crowd of just about 400 business people from several chambers, for an evening of great food, drink, fun and networking. Do register soon for this event, as tickets will sell out quickly.
The Embassy Commercial Section has kindly extended an invitation to CCCJ Members to participate at Happy Hour on Friday, June 05th.
Many thanks again to our Embassy friends for this kind invite. We hope that CCCJ Members will join in this opportunity to continue strengthening relations between the CCCJ and the Canadian Embassy.

On April 7th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan, in conjunction with member company Nakai Immigration Services will host an information networking event focused on visa and tax issues in Japan. Hosted at the Tokyo American Club, the event will start off with a 40 minute session on the above subject, followed by a chance for networking, food (buffet style) and free-flow beverages (nomihoudai).

We are joining together with members from a dozen networks in the Tokyo community for a Full Day, And Evening, at Ueno Koen. This is the ultimate 'Out Of Office' activity for all players across the ecosystem to make valuable connections, spend some quality time with old friends and enjoy a few priceless moments of magic thanks to Mother Nature.
We will be hosting a very casual mixer at BrewDog in Roppongi on Thursday February 26th - from 19:00 to 21:00. No RSVP, no cover charge. Cash bar in effect, and a pint of BrewDog Punk IPA on the house. That's right, free beer. Join us next Thursday for some quality drink, and even better company.
