Laughing Stock Vineyards is a small-production winery making ultra-premium wines in the much heralded Naramata Bench region of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Co-owners Cynthia (vineyard manager) and David Enns (winemaker) will personally introduce their 2009 ‘Portfolio’ and 2009 ‘Blind Trust’ Bordeaux blend wines, while also discussing their philosophy and practices at Laughing Stock, and the unique characteristics of the Naramata Bench.
The CCCJ will be hosting its March Monthly Mixer at Roppongi Hills Club on the 51st Floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. Coming off the largest event in CCCJ history, with its success being largely attributable to sponsor and volunteer efforts, the theme to this month's mixer is to express our recognition and appreciation to active sponsors and volunteers of the CCCJ.
Instead of hosting our traditional monthly mixer, this month we’ll join forces with our friends at the SCCIJ (Swiss Chamber) and the BLCCJ (Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber) for a Joint Chamber Networking Evening on Tuesday, February 28 at Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown.
Come prepared with your business cards: meet new contacts and catch up with friends and business partners! The evening will feature drinks, light snacks and casual networking. There will be a cash bar with wines, (Belgian) beer and soft drinks, all very reasonably priced at 500 Yen!
The CCCJ will be holding its Shinnenkai bringing in 2012; the year of the dragon on January 26th, 2012 at the Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown. Come join CCCJ Members and their guests for a fun night in a friendly, social environment offered at a very reasonable price.
Mark your calendars, contact your guests and register early for what promises to be another enjoyable night with the Canada-Japan business community!
The CCCJ welcomes members and guests to join together to bid farewell to Summer and welcome in the Fall at a casual Thursday night social mixer at the Hard Rock Cafe in Roppongi. Included in the registration price is a light buffet, one drink and warm-hearted people! Subsequent drinks have been negotiated to 500 Yen each.
Back by popular demand and this year with a Commonwealth theme!
This year we will be joined by members and guests of the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) and the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ), setting the stage for another dynamic night of summer networking.
Canada's oldest independent brewer (along with its Japanese importer) is launching Moosehead Lager, Pale Ale and Cracked Canoe in Japan. Canadians and Japanese fans of Canada are invited to come celebrate with a fun Beers for Books event on Thursday February 24 from 7 PM - 10 PM at BierVana in the Prudential Tower near Akasaka Mitsuke.
The Canada-themed night will include Canadian highlights on the big screen, a Canada quiz for prizes, and Canadian BEER--all for a great cause with Beers for Books. Sounds like fun, eh?
