The 2013 CCCJ Board of Governors Election is about get underway with a full card this year consisting of 14 excellent Candidates. Candidate Profiles and election related materials will be sent out shortly, but first, in order to bring Candidates and Members together face-to-face, the CCCJ is organizing a second social monthly mixer gathering Tuesday, June 18 at Roppongi Hills Club. Come hear from Candidates about what they wish to bring to the management of your Chamber and get to know them on a social level over a fine spread of food and drink. 

What can we expect from the government of Japan and the new governor of the Bank of Japan? Will Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's "three arrows" of economic revitalisation hit their mark? Can Asia-Pacific lenders seize the opportunity to become pan-Asian or even global? And are Asia’s fast-growing bond markets becoming a safe haven in a troubled world? All of these questions will be tackled at The Economist Events’ fourth year finance forum The Bellwether Series 2013: Japan roundtable taking place on May 30th 2013 in Tokyo.

The CCCJ will be holding its Shinnenkai ringing in 2013; the year of the snake on January 21st, 2013 at the Roppongi Hills Club. Joining us in welcoming in 2013 will be our new Canadian Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Mackenzie Clugston.
