Canada Day Party: Rakugo and Skyview Reception

Join us in celebrating Canada's National Day on Friday, July 1st with a special event presented in partnership by the Canada Japan Society and the CCCJ. 
Cultural Ambassador Katsura Sunshine will be presenting a special Rakugo performance, celebrating the cultural ties between Canada and Japan.

Sunshine's performance will be followed by a buffet and open bar reception at the Roppongi Hills Club, which offers some of the best views Tokyo has to offer.

Montreal-born conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin is bringing the Philadelphia Orchestra to Japan for the first time in two years. This young conductor who has gained maximum attention on the world stage has guest conducted the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony and other orchestras, and since 2008 has served as Music Director for the Rotterdam Philharmonic.

Tohoku Student Intern Project 2016 Evening Reception

The CCCJ in collaboration with NPO Ganbatte 365 will host an evening reception at Whistler Cafe on Friday March 18th from 18:30-20:30 to celebrate the completion of the 2016 Tohoku Student Intern Project. The event will feature short presentations by students who participated in this program, and a buffet, nomihoudai included. One ticket for a company representative is included for each intern hosted. Extra tickets can be purchased below.

「キッコーマン もの知りしょうゆ館」訪問

久方ぶりにESUJ Outing を開催いたします。今回は、ESUJ理事の茂木七左衞門氏(茂木本家第13代当主)のご好意により、「茂木本家美術館」と「キッコーマン もの知りしょうゆ館」を訪れます。「茂木本家美術館」では、12代、13代当主が収集された美術品を鑑賞し、カフェにてランチをいただきます。その後、「キッコーマン もの知りしょうゆ館」にて、野田の地で江戸時代から続けて来られた醤油の製造工程を映像や展示を通して楽しく学び、日本の誇る和食文化の一面についての理解を深めます。

On Saturday, April 25, Manulife will host their annual charity run event at Tokyo MX Ajunomoto stadium with sponsorships by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the Canadian Embassy in Japan and various other organizations. There will be 4 different run sections, and all charity money will de given to the Central Community Chest of Japan for building play-rooms for children under medical treatment.

Ladies and gentlemen, join CCCJ cultural ambassador, Katsura Sunshine, for an evening of craft beer and Rakugo. On Sunday March 15th, Katsura Sunshine will be performing English Rakugo at BrewDog in Roppongi. Come for an hour or so of laughter and stay for a Sunday afternoon party with Sunshine. Choose from over 20 craft beers on tap and many more in bottles!
