Lunch with Calin Rovinescu, President and CEO of Air Canada

On the 17th of June a group of over 60 CCCJ Members and guests welcomed Mr. Calin Rovinescu, the President and CEO of Air Canada to a luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. 

Mr. Rovinescu took the opportunity to update the audience about Air Canada and the airline industry in general since he last addressed the Chamber in March of 2010. He brought a unique perspective covering the last three years and looking into the future as Air Canada enters a period of international expansion with the imminent arrival of additional Boeing 777s and 787s. His perspective also included a look at the potential of our two countries and the impact of the proposed EPA on business in general between Canada and Japan.
