PAUL BRAGANZA

Rain Interactive, CCCJ Small Business Member

Owner & Representative Director

1. Name: Paul Braganza

2. Position / Business: Owner and Representative Director, Rain Interactive (株式会社 Rain Interactive) — a Tokyo-based digital agency specializing in web development, infrastructure, and digital marketing strategy.

3. Why I want to serve as Governor: Having lived in Japan for over two decades and supported the CCCJ's digital activities since 2010, I've watched the Chamber evolve through significant shifts in how members connect, do business, and find value in their membership. I want to serve as Governor to help guide the CCCJ through the next wave of change — particularly around digital infrastructure and AI — while continuing to give back to a community that has meant a great deal to me personally and professionally.

4. Previous CCCJ involvement: I have supported the CCCJ website and digital activities on a volunteer basis since 2010, working behind the scenes to keep the Chamber's online presence functional and current across multiple platform changes

5. Proudest accomplishment as a volunteer: Serving as Pub Com chair for several years was deeply rewarding, but I'm most proud of my contributions to Chamber events — helping organize the annual golf tournaments (including introducing the course we currently use) and supporting the planning and promotion of CCCJ galas. These events bring members together in ways that no digital channel ever will, and being part of making them happen has been a privilege.

6. Ideas and plans for the CCCJ:

  1. Consolidate digital infrastructure — transition the Chamber's website, member admin, and related services to a single, modern service provider to reduce cost and friction.
  2. Grow digital advertising revenue — develop the CCCJ's digital channels into a stronger revenue stream for the Chamber.
  3. Keep the CCCJ ahead on AI — help members and staff understand and adopt AI tools effectively.
