Event Report: CCCJ Bonenkai 2021!

On Wednesday, December15th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Japan hosted its long-awaited Bonenkai at the Aoyama Treehouse located in Aoyama-Itchome. The event was held in the Engawa Room, their stylish and sophisticated contemporary private event space.
The opening remarks were made by CCCJ Chairman David Anderson and followed by former NHL player Michael Kennedy’s kanpai speech, in which he presented an interesting analogy comparing the CCCJ team to the different positions in ice hockey!
Members and friends were thrilled to meet and reconnect with one another, especially after almost two years since the last Chamber Bonenkai. Tickets were sold out within two weeks of announcing the event and over 70 guests joined us for an evening of delicious food and drinks to celebrate the end of the year.
Thank you to all those who attended the event! For those who were unable to attend, please stay tuned for more events in the coming months. We wish you all a pleasant holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in 2022!
