Evening of Rakugo - Traditional Japanese Comic Storytelling

In celebration of the 85th anniversary of Japan-Canada Diplomatic Relations, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan cordially invites you to an Evening of Rakugo - Traditional Japanese Comic Storytelling in Japanese and English by Katsura Sunshine, the Cultural Ambassador for the Chamber. The event is followed by a reception.

Katsura Sunshine is presently the only foreign professional Rakugo storyteller in Japan. At this special event, Sunshine will perform two stories, one in English and one in Japanese. Both stories will be simultaneously translated with surtitles into the other language.

Please join Sunshine and the Chamber of Commerce for an evening of hilarity and celebration of a very special anniversary!

日加修好85周年記念を記念して在日カナダ商工会議所（ＣＣＣＪ）は、ＣＣＣＪの文化大使でもある桂三輝のバイリンガル落語会を開催いたします。

桂三輝は、六代桂文枝の15番目の弟子。現在唯一の外国人落語家として活躍中。今回の落語会で、三輝は、日加修好85周年を記念し、World Rakugo Tourの発表を行います。落語は、英語と日本語の二席。それぞれ日本語と英語の字幕がつきます。
