Canada Business / Investment Seminar & Networking
This event is the third installment of the “Canada Business / Investment Seminar & Networking” that Manning Elliott, a Canadian accounting firm, has been hosting over the past two years.
This year, in addition to our regular speakers, David and Tatsu, we are pleased to welcome Yuji, a lawyer based in Vancouver to further expand the scope and depth of the program.
David and Tatsu will cover a wide range of important information for businesses that want to sell goods or services into Canada, as well as those seeking to expand into Canada by setting up subsidiaries or branches.
Their presentation is designed to be relevant to as many participants as possible—from sole proprietors to large corporations. With newcomers in mind, they will begin with a brief recap of last year’s material before moving on to current topics concerning Canadian business and economic conditions.
When considering expansion into Canada, one cannot avoid the issue of visas and immigration. As a specialist who has handled numerous visa and immigration applications for Japanese clients, Yuji will provide an overview of the Canadian visa and immigration system, along with recent trends in this area.
