Maple Leaf Gala 2023 "Renaissance"

On the night of Friday, December 1, in the presence of HIH Princess Takamado and Ambassador Ian McKay, over two hundred esteemed guests were warmly welcomed to the theme of “Renaissance” for the much-anticipated return of the 2023 Maple Leaf Gala, hosted by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Attendees reveled in a night filled with music, cuisine, entertainment, and the cheerful company of fellow guests at the sold-out Palace Hotel Tokyo.

The Gala kicked off with the grand entrance of distinguished guests; HIH Princess Takamado and Ambassador of Canada to Japan and Special Envoy for the Indo-Pacific, Mr. Ian G. McKay. Attendees were treated to a delightful selection of some of Canada's finest ingredients, accompanied by a carefully curated wine list. As the night unfolded, special performers, including a live band and a freestyle footballer, Tommy, took to the stage. Guests later joined in the fun, showcasing their best moves on the dance floor to the tunes of a DJ.
