Event Report:CCCJ Speaker Series: Why Diversity in Business Matters with Dean Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou

On March 15th, we continued our CCCJ Speaker Series by welcoming the Dean of the McGill Japan MBA programme, Professor of Finance Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou for a lunchtime seminar at Roppongi Hills Club. The event was supported by CCI France Japon and McGill MBA Japan.

Ms. Bajeux-Besnainou is the first female dean of McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management. Based on her own experiences, she discussed the challenges of women in business, particularly in the finance sector.

The topic was ''Why diversity in business matters?'' and the event was successful having approximately 30 attendees including various business people, McGill alumni and students.  After her talk, the floor was opened for a brief Q&A session. The discussion was moderated by Philip O'Neill, director of the McGill MBA Japan program.

The CCCJ would like to thank all attendees for supporting this event, especially Dean Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou for giving us an interesting speech.
