Transatlantic Trivia Night and Networking with the IJCC

On Thursday, 16 July, the CCCJ joined the Irish Japanese Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) for a special Transatlantic Trivia Night 🇨🇦🇮🇪 , bringing together members from the Canadian, Irish, and Japanese business communities for a fun evening of trivia and networking at An SÓLÁS Irish Pub in Yoyogi.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the growing relationship between the CCCJ and IJCC while introducing Japanese members to both Chambers and the communities they represent, providing the perfect setting to connect in a relaxed atmosphere, make new friends, and enjoy some friendly competition.

True to the spirit of the evening, the Canadian contingent fully embraced the Irish experience by sampling some of Ireland’s “finest culinary delights,” including the iconic Tayto crisps and the legendary Spice Bag.

After three closely contested rounds, one team emerged victorious and took home the coveted grand prize: an afternoon tea experience at the Conrad Tokyo. Our top three teams were also entered into a prize draw, with fantastic prizes generously provided by CCCJ and IJCC sponsors: Onoda Inc., The BUSKER Irish Whiskey, Adria International Co., Ltd, and Robert Walters.
