CCCJ Opposes closure of Fukuoka and Osaka consulates.

In response to the Government of Canada's recent announcement that it will close its consulates in Fukuoka and Osaka, the CCCJ wrote a letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper urging the government to immediately review its decision. The CCCJ opposes the closures and believes that this decision does not serve the interests of Canadians and Canada-Japan relations.

The CCCJ hosts a record six events in June

June was packed with a record six CCCJ events! BC Minister of Economic Trade and Development Colin Hansen kicked off our guest speaker luncheon series, followed by the Honourable Raymond Bachand (Quebec's Minister of Economic Trade and Development) and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, who was accompanied by Minister of Economic Trade and Development Joe Cordiano.
