On 31 October 2014, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCCJ) hosted its annual Maple Leaf Gala at the Tokyo American Club, in Azabudai, Minato ward. This year’s Gala was hosted in the presence of Her Imperial Highness, Princess Takamado, and His Excellency, Ambassador of Canada to Japan Mackenzie Clugston.

On November 18, 2014 the CCCJ Trade Policy Committee hosted an engagement with Canada’s chief negotiator, Mr. Ian Burney, and Canada’s lead negotiators for Government Procurement and Technical Barriers to Trade, who were in Tokyo for the seventh round of Canada-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement negotiations.
